Privacy

To have an account: your email address, the name you chose, your date of birth, and a hashed version of your password. We never store the password itself and cannot read it.

From playing: your bunnies and how they look, the babies in your family and who their parents were, your burrow and its furniture, and which server you were last on.

From supporting: which tier you are on and until when, and a record of each payment we were told about. If you link Patreon we store your Patreon account id and the email on it. If you buy through Steam we store your Steam id and the order number.

Technical: a hashed session token and the browser string for each sign-in, so you can see and end your own sessions.

Every message you send in a server is stored with your name and the time you sent it. Moderators can search it. This is deliberate — it is how reports get resolved, and a game with younger players on it cannot be moderated without it.

Treat chat as written down rather than spoken. Do not put anything in it you would not want a moderator to read.

There are no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising networks and no third-party scripts of any kind in this site. Nobody is paying us for your attention and nothing here is watching you for them.

We never see your card details. Patreon and Steam take payments and only tell us that one happened.

Amazon Web Services hosts the game and the database, and sends our email. Patreon and Steam handle payments and tell us what you bought. That is the whole list.

We do not sell anything about you, and we do not share it except where the law requires it — or where someone is putting a child at risk, which we report.

To keep the 18+ servers 18+. It is stored on your account and checked whenever you enter one. It is not shown to other players.

Email hello@bunny-town.com and ask. We will send you what we hold, or delete your account and everything attached to it — bunnies, family, burrow, sessions.

Two things survive a deletion, and you should know which. Chat messages already sent stay in the moderation log, because deleting your account should not erase a harassment report someone else filed. Payment records stay as long as we are required to keep them.

Bunny Town is built expecting younger players on the general servers, and the 18+ servers are gated away from them. If you are a parent and want to know what we hold about your child, or want it removed, email hello@bunny-town.com and we will deal with it directly.
